There is a new form of liposuction that is gaining popularity in the way that lipo-dissolve did recently especially in the UK. Its called bodyjet. It’s like traditional liposuction, but done under local anesthesia. It can be used on the bottom, thighs, chin and is also cited as being very good for hard to treat areas. These include “male breasts”, the treatment being gynaecomastic reduction liposuction. There are a considerable amount of potential benefits advertised from this new technique. But, some cosmetic surgeons don’t think that this is the most sophisticated form of liposuction, pointing to Vaser liposuction which uses ultrasound technology. Still others say that, especially because of its rapid turn around in healing, this has benefits. A person could have the procedure and potentially be back to work only a few days later. You can’t do better than Vaser. It’s everything all the others claim combined. It’s proven too.

I recently had a friend undergo Vaser liposelection while awake and she said it was virtuously painless. The ultrasound melts the fat. I am not sure how water would help anything.
